When is the last time you get really hyped like you were just bumping into your crush or getting a pay rise? If you cannot remember, well, you do need to release your dopamine, fam.

Dopamine is a famous yet important chemical who acts as a messenger in the brain cells. It plays a role to makes us human; meaning awfully bright, able to plan ahead, and resist impulses when necessary.

When dopamine is released in large amounts, it creates feelings of pleasure and reward, also increases motivation and enthusiasm. Sounds like something that millennials need, right?

Good news for us! There are so many ways to increase dopamine levels naturally. One of them is getting the entertainment.

Show affection to your health by keeping entertained

What is the most possible way to stimulate dopamine release in the brain? The answer is listening to music.

Several brain imaging studies have found that listening to music increases activity in the reward and pleasure areas of the brain, which are rich with dopamine receptors. The study of Koelsch S, Brain Correlates of Music of Music-evoked Emotions, shows that music can modulate activity in brain structures that are known to be crucially involved in emotion.

In another word, music is a universal feature of human societies, partly owing to its power to evoke strong emotions and influence moods.

Humans, especially millennials, need entertainment as the relaxation for the brain among the hassle and rushed behavior. It keeps them being productive, especially music.

Since studies have shown that entertainment has a correlation with the health issue, it is no surprise that attending an event, with music, in this case, can increase pleasurable feelings, improve mood, boost energy, and help us to focus and concentrate.
